1) I think of "hrmph" as a kind of pouting dissatisfaction, and the icon itself doesn't really express that, nor do I think anyone uses it that way. It's more of a skeptical, perhaps distrusting, tongue-in-cheek glare.
How about calling it ":glare:"? Anyone have other ideas?
2) I would like to be able to use the "hai" icon in the body of a post. How about it?

the problem with changing the code for an icon is that all the posts before the icon code was changed will lose their icons and show instead the old codeword.
Body language is more important than words in conversation. For instance, no words could truly encompass my above response to you as concisely and accurately as that icon. There's a time and a place for icon usage, of course, but that's not really what you said.
