Default Cyclobenzaprine for opiate withdrawals

We were discussing this at my class at college. Do you think this could be a good way to treat addicts with less abuse potential?

It's probably better than nothing, cyclobenzaprine did nothing for me but make me tired and sloppy. I can imagine it possibly having a similar-to-benzos effect on withdrawals. You don't have benzos though? Are you taking imodium? Have you thought about kratom? Ginger root, ibuprofen, weed, and benadryl (if you cant sleep) are also pretty useful while experiencing opiate W/D's IME.

Flexeril would be my last result, I hate that stuff with a purple passion.

Yeah, fuck all of that noise. You should probably look up if it even affects the same receptors. It might affect some of the same ones as some benzos, but it's still not very fun. I know you're not using it for recreational value, but I doubt it would work to ease withdrawals either, unless being zombied out does that for you.

Any CNS depressant helps me. My body's natural reflex is to sleep as much as possible when in WD. So any depressant that makes that more possible or slows down the restlessness will help.

Just throw up you fucking idiot, you know that opiate/opioid WD's make you throw up right? do you think suppressing them is a good thing. Just take upwards of 30mg loperamide a day and take either 1g APAP every two hours or 200mg ibuprofen.
