Temazepam 10mg

The doc described me some of these to help me get to sleep, since a medical condition in one ear is keeping me awake/waking me up frequently. He, and the chemist, both said, take one, half an hour before you want to go to sleep, and you will be out like a light.

I took one last night, and was still awake after two hours, and not drowsy. I then went to bed and was still awake for another hour before I got to sleep. I ought to have zero tolerance to those things, as I'm the sort of person who normally wouldn't take prescription meds except in the most dire of circumstances.

I don't take any other meds, illicit drugs, and wasn't drinking that night. Did he prescribe me salt tablets or some other sort of placebo?

but seriously if you want to test the pill content, id take twice the recommended dose and see if that has any effect and so on and so forth.

Those arent the best for sleep, im my opinion no benzos are really. Normally you have to take a few and give it a while before you actually get able to sleep drowsy and not feeling the effects drowsy..

Same thing happened to me, and I even made a thread about it - although for me it was Klonopin. Weird stuff, isn't it? I doubled, tripled, and eventually got up to 12x my prescribed dose without ever feeling anything. Xanax works like normal on me though... maybe you just need a different benzo.

normally 2 mg of that i can at least feel something, usually a good effect.. But each his own..


Yes perhaps another benzo may do the trick, but I'd advise staying away from any of the hypnotic type things like ambien or lunesta etc..

I think you will find the right benzo that will put you out.

I got up to 6mg, actually... and this is with no tolerance for benzos. But one bar of alprazolam will get me nice and chill.

Wow, you lucky fucks have probably never been scripted a benzo. You're all talking about doses so low that they're nowhere near a low end medical dose for me.

Shit, my girl gets temazzies from her doctor sometimes and hooks me up with them; I eat 120+mg to feel good. But I'm pretty sure 10mg is a low end medical dosage, too. I think here in the US, they come in 7.5, 15, and 30. So, try taking three of them. You won't have a horrible blackout, and there's a good chance it'll help you sleep.

If it doesn't, remember that you can take ridiculous doses of benzos safely as long as you don't mix it with other downers. I'm assuming you got a 30 day supply of 10mg pills? 300mg sure as hell isn't gonna kill you by itself, even with no tolerance. You won't die, but don't blame me if you black out.

I got a slab of 25 10mg tablets, no repeats, so they won't last long if I take handfuls of them.

However, taking one tablet seems to alleviate my ear problem really well, somehow, which means I can still get to sleep in the normal amount of time that it would take me without the problem.

Dunno about where you are, but they can't give refills on controlled substances here. Just ask for a higher dose. In my experience, if they have no reason to suspect you abuse drugs, they won't have a problem with it.

Okay, either I'm a superhuman entity, immune to benzos (possible), or this doctor has fleeced me (likely)

I've taken two tonight with a glass of milk, laid down, watched a movie, ('Pathology', not too bad), turned it off when it finished, laid quietly in the dark for half an hour, then got bored/frustrated and read a book for an hour, then felt a little tired and laid quietly for another half an hour, then got bored and kind of cranky, and I'm currently as alert as I get. Did a sobriety test, and can walk in a straight line perfectly, touch my nose, all that jazz, and now I'm doing this.

Seriously, unless you're a 90lb teenage girl, don't even bother with anything lower than 30-45mg. And that's just for medicinal use.

Also, toxic effects? Puking at night? Those almost certainly not symptoms caused by the temazepam, unless you have an allergy, which based on what you've said, I doubt.

If you post again that it doesn't work without trying at least 45mg, I'm moving this to the retarded thread.

1st off it is highly unethical, immoral, and illegal for a doctor to give you anything other than what he is saying he is giving you. Also, the drug he gives you has to do what he says it does. A doctor in a clinical setting can not legally give you a placebo. So, whatever he told you he prescribed is exactly what he gave you and it does what he said it does.

Seriously though, you're asking a legit medical question here, and NfHC is probably not the best place to get the info you're looking for. Since you're not looking for how to get high, but rather how to get your meds to work like they're supposed to.

For advice on that you should talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist. I'd reccomend talking to your pharmacist first that way when you go in to talk to your doctor you can reference what your pharmacist said and that will help you not to look like a drug seeker whos just trying to get your script bumped up.

I actually think its a federal law that says only CIIs cant have refills. Everything else (like CIII and CIV) can have refills just like other meds. I used to get 180 vicodins (which is a CIII) per month and they always had several refills on the script. But now that Im on Fentanyl and Opana for pain management not only can they not have refills, but each prescription has to be written on paper (no phoning it in, or electronic prescriptions) and the script can not be filled without the original paper script there (no transferring between pharmacies - even from one walgreens to another walgreens right across the street).

It might just be NYS law, then, but I've had three different psychiatrists tell me that. They can't do refills, and can't call in anything more than a three day script.

Damn. Thats a shit law. It must be state, or even city if this all happened in NYC. That sucks, I assume what I said is the federal law, but it could be CA I suppose.

Definitely not city law; three different docs in three cities. Gotta be state. I'll try to look that up later.

Side note, I have 26 15mg temazepam as a gift from my girl. I'll most likely eat them all tonight.

Also I had a pretty good time snorting 90 mg and smokin a blunt of regs. Perfect calm. Could of gone to sleep, but didn't feel any urge to, like when I take 2mg Xanax.

Meh, Restoril is weak as a benzo compared to Xanax or Valium anyway. You're gonna need to take like 50 mgs to feel what about 2 mgs of Xanax or 20 mgs of Valium would give you.

I got scripted my Kpins, first .25mg a day then .5mg a day. And she wouldn't go higher than that.

I have taken 50mg tonight, about 1hr40 minutes ago. The only effect I've noticed is slight coordination problems when walking, but this might be attributed to the 12km beach walk I did yesterday, the muscles in my lower legs, the caves and and tibialis are rooted, I totally overdid it.

I'm a little tired, I could probably go to sleep in a bit if I really tried, but it has been a long and stressful day, I've been up since 5am. I have 100 mg left, so I'll take those tomorrow night and see what happens.

As for the puking thing, I guess I was just paranoid, I just get nauseous at the drop of a hat, taking three asprin instead of two, drinking a couple coffees without eating, or riding passenger in a car for even short distances. And I really hate to puke.

Overdoing it on benzos is a surefire way to have them NOT work.
