Petition to Ban Jim "F*** Latinos" Carrey

Okay this is a petition to ban Jim. The reasons he should be banned is he incites hatred and he derails threads. He is a detrimental member of this community and I think the most responsible action the moderators could take would be a permanent IP-Ban of Carrey.

If anyone of you want examples of this hate-monger, merely run a search for his user name. I guarantee at least 90 percent of the posts you will find will be some kind of inflammatory or hateful comment.

Please note: Any post in this thread will be seen as a vote for banning Jim. If you are Jim or anyone else who wants to spread hate please take it somewhere else.

I think UKers and Canucks are in for a surprise some day with all their human rights violations(hate speech laws) that force racists to go underground. If someone is willing to risk social ostracism, their career, and their relationship with friends and family to get a message out, let them. Locking them up is just fucked up. it's fascist. Condoning hate speech laws is the same as putting a gun to someone and telling them to shut up, with several layers of bureaucracy and sophistry in between.

Considering it has been proven that these laws are very effective in both countries (especially Canada), I would have to disagree.

Well look at Hitler. His words alone caused the deaths of millions upon millions of innocent people. These exact words are echoed by Jim.

There are limits to free speech, most countries recognise this. The fact that the U.S is the murder capitol of the world, home of the KKK and other hate groups, all demonstrate how backwards we are in many areas.

Obviously enforcing hate crime legislation is hard in the current state of the internet, I see the internet as evolving though. There have been positive breakthroughs in many nations including Canada, Australia and Germany.

This is why it is one of my strong beliefs that for the time being we must take it upon ourselves to uphold these ideals and have the courage to take action against those who attempt to incite violence and hatred. This is clearly Jim's intention whether or not he is aware of it.
