So i live in Maryland which you may know dosnt have a castle doctrine or anything like that. now if worst comes to worse i have no problem using deadly force. my question is how effective do you think those hard rubber non lethal rounds would be to stop your average intruder as a first option?

I can't tell you how effective they'd be. I know people die from them, and I can tell you that if whoever you shoot survives they will sue the shit out of you and probably win.

I would like to try some of those out. I bet the rocket shaped one would hurt more than the bean bag. That would definitely stop someone especially if you shot them in the gut or head.

Keep in mind "less lethal" rounds can still be lethal. There are certain less lethal rounds for certain ranges and situations.

I don't think you get how truley retarded maryland law is. If someone breaks into your house you have no right to shoot unless there actively trying to murder you. If you kill them its a murder charge and yea id probably get in legal trouble less than lethal to but ill take that over murder charges. In maryland the right to self defense basically dosnt exist.

More likely than not within one hundred miles (or less) of your present location are the states of PA and VA.

There you don't have to concern yourself with less lethal.
