opium and poppy seeds

After lots of reasearch and theory my pet chook has decided to finally try and make opium from poppy seeds using an alchol evaporation wash.

500grams of poppy seeds will be shaken for 30 minutes with enough alcohol(99% with no harmfull properties). The result mixture will be strained through a filter till only a brownish liquid will be left. The brow liquid will be poured into a pourciline dish and left till evapourated. Once evaporated the crystals will be scrapped off by a razor and put in a lil dollie bag.

Apparently my chook got .5gram of crystal and .5gram of brown tary shit.
Is their anything my chook can do to refine it, test if its pure, or get a better yeild?
