OP, try pouring some Kroil in there and letting it permeate and see if that doesn't loosen it before you start taking hammers to the poor thing.

Just case expansion. The bolt kinda cams in to the locking lugs so if you have a really hot load the case expands enough that it pushes the bolt back against the lugs and if the load is hot enough it will stick the bolt.
I have had it happen a couple of times working up a load for my Savage. Not that extreme, just noticed when I went to lift the bolt handle it was a little sticky.
