GPS advice

i want to buy a new gps for my scion xb,
i was wondering if there were any with a live traffic sort of thing?
if not, i'll probably just stay real simple with a TomTomOne or something

i don't have much experience with any of the navigation systems but i have heard that models need to be updated as soon you buy and that it costs about 60 bucks to do so.
