I'm not so good with working effects, but I'd love to get this kind of sound.

Does anyone know how I could go about getting that type of sound?

Sounds like delay and compression to me. I'll give it a try when I get home...Got one of my axes hooked up to my computer (thanks again for the idea Essjay!) and aquired a copy of Guitar Rig 4.

Can you describe what part of the sound you like...More explaination the better.
