Mono and Weed

Went to the doctor today, thinking i had strep throat. He says i probably have mono.....FUCK. So my question is, would it be a poor decision if i toked while sick?

if your throats fucked, then smoking anything isnt going to be comfortable. Other than that it's not going to directly effect it.

i'd suggest making cookies.

smoking while sick hasn't done anything horrible to me. one time i did smoke with strep and coughed for like three minutes. it sucked ass for half hour, felt like i just swallowed some draino

So I remember a time last year when I got pretty sick and stopped smoking. I thought "my throat cant handle this so no more cigs or weed"

It hardly helped. I felt like shit because I wasn't getting better. I finally started toking after 3-4 days and I swear it made things 1000x better. I would occasionally have an hour or 2 after smoking where I wouldn't be in pain, congested and coughing.

Since you have mono, you're guaranteed to be out for a week, possibly 2. Don't sit around all day and smoke, but it will probably make things a little better if you smoke a bowl every other day or something.

That's how lots of people figure out they have mono! You are very susceptible to rupturing tour spleen when you have mono.

I had mono for a LONG time and I would say you'll be fine. Didn't bother me.

I got it years ago and I'm not 100% still. So I wish you a speedyrecovery.
