Some of the ones who act the most humble are the most self-involved. Personal experience from working services at an arena when I was younger.

Yeah that's how I always thought of him, more commenting on society/politics and so on than a straight stand up. He isn't as funny as some comedians but he's easily my favourite stand up for his unique observations. Lee Evans is the funniest stand up I think and I wouldn't really compare the two, completely different things.
