9. Believe in a god and even religion but dont follow it at all; still claim other people are going to hell.

Yea mate nothing wrong with wanting things but things =/= happiness. I for example want some new guitars, turntables and etc. because they are part of my hobbies (playing the guiar, DJing, which I truly enjoy). My issue is with buying purely for the sake of buying. The corporations would have you believe you NEED a pair of their new shoes, or some special cologne, or a certain phone, in order to be happy. That is an absurdity and what is steadily destroying our society.

Alright I tend to agree with you but the fact is the vast majority of people are swayed by advertisements in the media and social pressure to want things for no reason other than society associates them, and consumerism, with happiness. If you must see it that way then, yes, most people are fucking knobs. They are highly malleable and bend to the corporate pressure regularly. So, whether you blame the corporations or the people themselves, consumerism is the greatest threat to our society.
