Nootropics?
Well i have been looking into this lately, seems pretty interesting.
But its hard to gather some concrete information about them. They should be all around healthy for your mind / body /awareness.. How youre feeling, etc.
I guess what im asking it is to get some opinions from somebody with personal experience? What would be a good place to start doing nootropics, what were your personal experience with them, things to know etc.
Also a good place to get them in Europe? Seems like it would be expensive ordering from the states.
Edit: Reason i have been looking into it is that i have been feeling tired as shit and ... 'clouded' in my mind for a while now.

Re: Nootropics?
I've been taking piracetam/ oxyracetam with alpha GPC (among many other other things) for over a year now, with some serious results. No doubt about it, those compounds really changed me, I can honestly say I'm a different person because of them. The effects are complex, not only do they offer cognition and mood enhancement as well as energy, but they have accented/changed every drug experience I have had since starting. I feel like I have higher moderation of my thoughts and actions, everything just.....flows. BUT they have made me a very logical and somewhat cynical person so some comedic social situations dont enguage me like they use to. The 'racetams also give me a little dryness of the skin. This reminds me: There's been a bunch of nootropic threads lately, I don't really want to have to repeat myself when another thread is right on the same page. /endrant.
Vinpocetine and huperzine A work extremely well in junction with 'racetam/choline source combination.
Start with ~1-2g piracetam and soy lecithin or tons of eggs if you're looking to explore nootropics. They're cheap to maintain and widely available. Then move up to better choline sources, and more potent 'racetams if you notice improvements.

Hydergine is next on my list, going to order some soon. I'm very excited to try it out. pira is real expensive, and oxyracetam/piracetam combo does it for me. I didn't like aniracetam too much though after trying it.
Too bad I hate eggs, I really wish I liked them though. Have you ever tried any other choline sources? Because I notice a significant difference between lecithin and alpha GPC, soy is weaksause compared to it.

Re: Nootropics?
Sounds like piracetam is somewhat effective at improving cognition:
http://www.springerlink.com/content/q11tp628r58373j3/
I wonder why it's not prescribed clinically though. Perhaps it isn't too effective, or hasn't been studied enough yet, IDK.
edit: It could be placebo too. Like, you expect the nootropic to work, or hope that it does, so you subconsciously try to focus and remember things more.

Re: Nootropics?
Racetems have fuck all for effects on people with normally functioning brains
The reason you won't find this crap anywhere but on the net its a big bottle of placebo
People are just using the science of it improving the condition of people with severe mental degeneration to convince average people it will have the same effect on them
People believe this, take the stuff and convince themselves they're smarter because of it its as simple as that
If racetems actually made a signifcant difference to people not suffering from certain conditions then it would be EVERYWHERE...every pharmacy, every health store....its isn't. Racetems have been around for decades and haven't made it big anywhere except the net. You'd be just as well off to get a "Grow Smarter Through Hypnosis" tape

Re: Nootropics?
I don't know if it's even truly effective on people with mental conditions. I mean, the linked study above could have involved placebo. That might be why I have schizophrenia and still wasn't prescribed piracetam as a cognitive enhancer. I was recommended omega-3 oils though.

"they" might not (who exactly is they in this case? gov't? jews? reptiles? reptilian jews?), but tons of suppliers and distributors sure would, if it meant money in their pockets

plenty of supplies and distributors DO carry it online, but to sell it OTC is going to require all sorts of rules & regulations. which means reptile jews from the dimension of greed & suffering ignorance.

Scary how little information can be contained in this many posts.
