Jose is good, but I've really come to like Sauza gold and Sauza gold Anniversio . Just toss it in with some margarita mix, and you've got some great 'ritas. I also keep some Skyy Vodka for when I need help getting to sleep. And in the back, good ole Everclear

Re: What are the staples in your liquor cabinet?
When I was with the ex, we always had my bourbon on hand, her vodka, usually some Bailey's since she liked that, and whatever odds and ends we had kicking around from partying the weekends before when I was likely concocting or mixing decent cocktails (this was when I was still working in the bar/restaurant as a manager). You could also count on a bottle of medium bodied red wine and probably a Fat Tire or two, but those were more for cooking than for drinking, since I don't drink wine, and prefer a pale ale when drinking craft beer.
I had a phase when I had Jagermeister on hand all the time in the freezer as well, but I've gotten away from that since I'm not taking shots of Jager every night after work.

Re: What are the staples in your liquor cabinet?
I always have gin on hand. Also a bottle of Jameson that's been sitting there half empty for eight months or so.

Re: What are the staples in your liquor cabinet?
When I was 21, and my alcoholism had yet to totally kick in, I had exactly 100 bottles of booze in stock--domestic gin, imported gin (Burnet White Satin and Beefeaters);most every kinda whisky and whiskey except for bourbon; all kindsa oddball flavored shit.
My last binge, though, all I drank was Steele Reserve and Monarch vodka.
