Default irritating people you meet while at work

Post annoying things that people do or say while you're at work. Dissatisfied customers, domineering bosses or moronic co-workers, I wanna hear it all.

When I used to be a lifeguard, one lady noticed that our U.S. flag had gotten caught on a tree branch, so she decided to come to the concession stand and flip shit onto our faces. Apparently she had called the cops about the flag too, because a few minutes into her bitching, they showed up at the pool in three squad cars. at my small conservative town.

Black people can be the most annoying customers on the phone and pull up the racist card when I can't understand them and tell them to speak more clearly.

it bugs the hell out of me when my boss tries to micro-manage my every fucking motion.

I deal with a lot of customers, and of course some of them are supreme dickheads and I'm supposed to be nice to them. fuck that, I'd rather get written up for talking back. I've had a few "talking to"s about that.

also annoying is the people who are presumably lonely with no family or anything, and they talk to you about the most inane shit and never want to leave the counter, they just keeeep on talking. walk away to do something, they just talk louder. oh your brother gave you a truck in 1987? how kind of him. why are you telling this to a cashier you've never met????

It's those really fucking 'needy' people that test me, and there's alot of them. The kind of people that need you to basically hold their hand while they do anything and everything. I guess it just comes with the disposition of being a capable body in this joke that is the canadian workforce.

Dealing with drunk asshole customers has pissed me off the most.

Then dealing with with niggers/pakis/italians etc with super thick accents. I cant understand them and its such a pain in the ass. You came to canada, learn to speak proper english you assholes.

Homeless people also piss me off. Ive seen them enter several of my jobs and just walk around blantantly looking for shit to steal. Its such a pain kicking those douchebags out.

Babies. I wish babies simply didnt exist. Im trying to work. I dont need your little cunt of a kid screaming/crying his lungs off.

Niggers: they walk too damn slow, talk way too loud, and are just annoying as hell

Teenagers: all the girls talk about is lust and fluff about guys they fucked, and all boys talk about is world of warcraft and girls they want to fuck.

Old people: they expect 'extra' positive service with a smile because they are old as fuck and we're supposed to respect our elders. Bullshit. Get on the death panel and fucking die already. And stay off the fucking road so that I don't have to see your ass going 45 in a 60.

Pretty much everyone except for hot sluts who wear skimpy clothing with mega cleavage.

I'm a delivery driver. I've come to hate people who drive slow, people who slow down before they get in the turning lane, people who slow down when approaching stale green lights. So basically old people.

I hate the people who clearly want very badly to be the manager at a minimum wage dead end job.

I don't put up with asshole customers. Through a mistake that wasn't even my fault last week, I ended up arriving at this old hag's house with her sandwiches half an hour before she had wanted them. She answers the door looking angry as hell. She snarls at me with her twisted brown teeth, seriously like something out of a movie, she had the most pissed off look on her face,

"THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED AT 7 O'CLOCK!"

"Oh uh, well I'm sorry we can just...."

"WHERE DID YOU GRADUATE FROM? DIDN'T THEY TEACH YOU HOW TO READ??"

"Go fuck yourself lady."

"WELL GIVE ME THE SANDWICHES!"

"Fuck no."

Lady calls in a bit later bitching and we all have a good laugh.

Just beacuse were eating lunch together does not make us friends.

People who swear at machinery just because they fucked up fixing it.

People who talk shit about there wives and kids because its the "manly" thing to do at work.

Fuck men gossip just as bad as women.

People who get to listen to music, and there in their 40s who listen to "notorious B.I.G and shit" seriously, no matter what age you are that isnt cool.

Talking about women. <---- People wake up, we know your lieing.

I never have to deal with customers or anyone like that. The only new people I ever meet are new workers. I like to irritate the hell out of everyone, and so does everyone I work with.

Thing is, most of us are just joking around. It's too bad when someone takes it seriously.

Never really, just the socially awkward pricks who can't take a bit of banter and goes off in a strop all the time or who is blatantly taking it personally.

Oh, like everyone else said too, niggers... in general. Paki clients too, I've just simply stopped doing jobs for these people; I do jobs for whites only.

Computer service help desk slave here. We actually get a lot of nice customers and damn, do we get some hot chicks too.

However, sometimes we get those fucked up stupid people who will not admit their stupidity. They either storm off without paying anything or we can milk 'em for a few irrelevant services. Example:

I had this black dude come in with an ancient 2004 laptop that worked pretty well, but had a small hard drive and no wifi. He also had his own fucking picture as the wall paper. So I told him how iTunes works and he won't be able to play the songs from his external HDD because that's how the program works, ok. Then I got him a usb wifi adapter and all the while I'm installing it he tells me, in a really gay fucking voice, how he would've never done that because "you know, people like me just don't get manuals". Like what the fuck, the guy is flaunting his stupidity as if it were a positive trait or something. But I charged him 50$ for installing a usb wifi adapter so it's not so bad.

Also, since I work in Manhattan I get a lot of upper class rich white bitches who got the entitled-princess syndrome. When I give them a quote on repairing their laptop (usually between 100 and 300$), it turns out they don't wanna pay so much. So because I'm an honest person, I tell them they can do it themselves and explain to them the whole process. And because they're stupid greedy fucking lazy bitches, they ask me if I could do it for them, but they don't wanna pay . Like what the fuck? Are we a fucking charity or are we a fucking business that needs profit? They think that because they put on a ton of make up guys like me will risk their fucking job to help them out and get nothing in return but a few kind words?

no, I would never work at a fast-food place. I'm also older than you think I am.

Do you have a job, chi?

No, I'm one of those faggot high school kids who get all their drug money from their parents. I did have a job in the supermarket freezer though, but I quit showing up after like two days.

Mad Re: irritating people you meet while at work

I do special effects for movies, plays, and so on...

And I hate customers...

Not all of them, mind you, but if they're from some larger company they're so god damn caught up in red tape and personal backstabbing I'll have to work overtime and during the weekends...

Here's a hypothetical scenario... the GreatBig Theater calls us up, they're rehearsing for a play six months away, and they need 10 baseball bats wrapped in barb wire and with nails hammered through them, they have to look exactly like the real deal, but they must be 100% safe to get hit square in the face with.
So we tell them we'll call them back...
Then we sit down and go over the project, calculate how much time we'll need, come up with three different solutions with three different price tags.
Then we call them back; solution 1 is cheap, solution 2 isn't as cheap but the quality is better, solution 3 is the most expensive but the quality is top notch - you can't tell the bats apart from the real deal until you pick them up.
If it's a rush job the price doubles, if they can wait they'll get them at the standard rate for such an order. The point is that if we know we don't have to deliver for three months we can fit the order into the schedule, if they need them right away we'll have to put every other project on standby. They usually decide to wait to save the money, can't blame them.

Then their prop buyer runs the whole thing over with his bosses, this takes a month, for some weird reason...
Then they call us back, let's say they go for solution 3 to be delivered in 4 months. There's 5 months till premiere night.
What happens then, is that we figure out when to do what parts of the project as some process will undoubtedly coincide with similar process we'll go through, when working on other projects.
Setting up machines and calibrating them takes time so it's not something we like to do over and over - we do it once, process the materials, and take the machine down until next time we've got a bunch to do on it.

Everything goes according to plan for two months (3 months till premiere night, 2 months till our deadline), then GreatBig Theater calls us up again, only, they've found another prop buyer that has decided he thinks the bats are too expensive and wishes to shop around a bit at the other FX guys, who incidentally was contacted by the original prop buyer but told him to contact us because we're the best for that sort of thing and because they themselves have specialized in weather effects, animatronics, fire, or something else entirely. The new prop buyer shops around for a month, and end up coming back to us... with 2 months till opening night, and 1 month till our original deadline, the bats haven't been touched in a month (because the new prop buyer thought he was being real smart), and are half way finished...
We went from having 4 months to complete the job, we did everything according to what we'd agreed upon with the GreatBig Theater, now we have 1 month till deadline.
It's beginning to smell like a rush job, we tell him that, and he thinks he needs to talk to his bosses, wasting another week, now we have 3 weeks, and the bats are still no closer to being finished, this is when he calls us back and gives us the go ahead on the bats, and thinks the prize we agreed upon is still the same, we tell him that agreement was taking into account we had 4 months to deliver, that the bats would have been delivered on time and for the money we agreed upon if his bosses hadn't decided to change the crew line up, and he hadn't decided to try to find a cheaper solution, special effects cost money, there's very few people who're actually capable of making these props and effects, try to understand that you fucking idiot! Don't even think you're clever, just let us do our jobs, pay the price, and be happy!
But we still only have three weeks...
As we can't really halt production on our other projects, because they also have their deadlines, we work overtime... And weekends...
Then we deliver on time, and send 'em a bill...
Then the real fun starts, now we have to fight tooth and nail to get them to pay what they owe - we agreed on a certain price under certain conditions, they decided to push us behind schedule, and yet they have the fucking nerve to try to weasel out of the deal and not pying the full debt...

I fucking hate customers...

Well, some of them...
