Did you use the soil mixes or the concentrate? I used the soil mixes and the results were phenominal, best I've ever had. There's nothing toxic in the organic soil mixes but IDK about the concentrate. Can't comment on the taste as I never got the chance
If it tastes like shit, it will impart that taste into whatever you cook, especially butter (butter will even absorb odors if improperly stored). I think there are other methods of extraction that will reduce that shitty taste, vaping, BHO, tinctures... I'd make a strong tincture for smaller doses if I get shitty tasting pot again instead of cooking butter, it's cheap and simple. Vegetable glycerine is an idea that's been floating around CC that I'd like to try.
