after reading some comments in W&C I see that conservative gun owners are against revolution. They are like most cops. They want to kill someone without facing any consequences, and like most liberals have been saying they probably use guns to make up for for other things they are lacking below the belt. I support the government doing their best to disarm anyone in a militia, any glenn beck supporters. I won't say right wing because people call skinheads right wing and they have been killing a good bit of cops lately. but all of the people who are useful to the revolution, their guns are either stolen, or at least bought through private sales. I havn't bought a gun in a store, or one that required a background check since i was 18.

Having a shitload of guns is pointless. in the event of martial law, you will be able to take fully automatic m4's and other goodies off of dead soldiers. wtf is the point of having 30 semi-auto ak or ar15's? (besides the reason stated above). these people are dangerous. dangerous to brave courageous men who shoot politicians and judges. liberals are annoying but they stay out of the way when good things like the tuscon thing happen. conservative gun nuts have to be disarmed or killed. the government pitting one evil, police/government agents, against another evil (the conservative gun nuts) is a great thing.

Even if it were possible to REALLY control guns then I wouldnt be for gun control.
I mainly just shoot .22s just an average shoot for fun firearm owner. Your completely right though, theres a very strong sense of satisfaction knowing that when someone breaks in my home I have the means to kill them ( with my bolt action centerfire rifle, thatd go well )

Besides searching every home in the u.s. there is no way to even get most of the guns, because of private sales most of the people who are on record as owning them don't anymore. but if they really cracked down on it, they would target militias, people who make videos on youtube holding their gun and reading the constitution, idiots like that. No matter they are still overpriced. And there are guns that are more fun that also wouldn't be obsolete like an ar15 if this happened. Long range rifles are best and you really only need one.

I hate to break it to you but my AR-15 with 1500 rounds is better than your Remington -large- 7400 chambered in .30-06 with 250 rounds. Assuming we are both still alive.

Also, "fun" is subjective. I have a decent collection of firearms in a variety of calibers. You want fun? How about .50BMG?

What is "long range" range? I can ping a 8"x10" steel plate at 200 yards all day long with .22LR out of my converted AR-15. Where I live 100 yards is a long shot. 200 yards extraordinarily long. Oh and doesn't the military sight their M4s in at 300 meters or something like that?

Gun control is a valid idea in my opinion, although I would have to look at it like I look at any other political issue: What would help the people most?

On one hand, people could get shot.
On the other, the gvm't wastes millions of dollars a year due to gun laws.

I'd have to say that in the end no gun laws benefit the people more because the money used to enforce them would go elsewhere (which in reality probably is STILL a waste.)
