I declare Egypt a 'revolution fail'.
Fuck, did anyone even die?
So boring man.
I saw the latest news... the headline was " Signs of normal life returning to Cairo "
Oh wow, that's fuckin great
That fuckin pussy Mubarack should have carpet bombed the huge crowds. That way people watching TV across the world could have been aptly entertained.
Fuckin FAIL

ill bet everyone make everyone else all excited. i mean, come on! i see those videos of the riots and stuff, and honestly it looks like a lot of fun to just go in a huge crowd of chaos and yell and just be in a moment of complete havoc for a couple hours. like how i've always wanted to go run around in a hurricane

that video was boring/dumb. how do they know the military didn't move in to stop the violence between police and protesters? that would be the most logical explaination. look as the military keeps the protesters from challenging the police. they're just trying to keep the peace... nothing crazy was going on here

Re: I declare Egypt a 'revolution fail'.
Disappointment. Egyptians are cowards who don't care about their own freedom, and deserve a guy like Mubarak in charge. Only about 100 people died - this is out of a country of 80 million (Egyptians breed like cockroaches).

It is difficult to move let alone run around during a hurricane dawg. plus, with all the lightning, tornadoes and shit flying through the air-why would you want to? have you ever been in one?

300 million - consisting of aging 60 and 70 year old baby boomers, spoiled /b/tard teenagers, with a wedge of fat workers on prozac and Mexican peasants keeping the whole show together.
In contrast Egypt's population is young and angry, 60% under 25, the way muslims breed they would be a perfect soldier master-race if only they weren't such fantastic yet entirely incompetent cowards*.

Re: I declare Egypt a 'revolution fail'.
^ Egypt's unemployment rate is about 40%
I bet that 40% comprises most of the protestors.
Another thing someone said which seems to make sense... Mubarak divided the people into 2 sides fighting with eachother. Pro-Mubarak's vs. Anti-Mubaraks
Now he just sits back and watches as the 2 sides beat eachother's brains in.
Brilliant!
I bet he is laughing evilly with a stereotypical evil laugh.

Re: I declare Egypt a 'revolution fail'.
It's fascinating to me the way that politics are being fed to the younger generations as something that is only interesting if some kind of major, bloody revolution is taking place. People are being taught that the only time politics are interesting and worth supporting are when people are acting like animals in the streets, waiting for some greater control to take over and restore civility.
Interesting, but not surprising. Disappointing and stupid, but not surprising.

They're being taught the opposite, rightfully, but only the point outlined here is true.
For most of us, we live in a world with a narrow spectrum of political choice (and political choice is done through a party system, which makes radical departure from the status quo harder still) that embraces, almost without question, the ideas of minimally-regulated neo-liberalism.
There isn't much interesting about any domestic politics these days, because it's just swinging scale between the right and left edge of 'centre-right'. A great problem is how many political questions have been de-politicised into cultural norms, like nationalism or class division.
The way to beat this, is through re-politicising the young and removing the antagonistic attitude the party system has towards ideology. Political, ideologically confident, educated youth could make politics interesting again; but in the meantime, we should struggle towards that.
