Oh my fucking god. When i was 12 i used cool edit pro, that became audition.
Ive got 3 home setups i go to, one uses audition that i installed for him (this shit is fucking childs play guys really?) another used mixcraft and the other adobe.
ive used everything from shure handhelds to those 4 dollar radioshack pc mics. and now, since im a big boy, MXLs and the likes

fl8. i picked up piano at daycare when i was 5 (mainly dark c notes, but im learning other progressions) I cant read/write music, im not a serious musician, ive just been at it a while and didnt let bullshit like impressing people hault my growth.
ive done 1 show in the last year (two weekends ago fell through.) Im literally out in the boondocks, closest big city has good venues so my sights are set there and minneapolis.
my best friend ordered and recieved a PA though so were ready for parties outside town limits lol

If there aren't that many submissions, yes. There's a few now, I've still gotta organise them all, but I think that it could use a few more. Especially since a lot of people have said they wanted to.

i had made a comment directing you to my soundclick, but i finally have the ability to download/upload on a computer so i'm emailing you now with 4 different mp3's [choose whatever/however many you need] 2 are instrumentals, one a full band, the other me fucking around with sampling/splicing/mixing/etc. the two solo songs are kinda old recordings, lyrics and song structure have changed but their the most "pro" sounding of the songs i have currently.

I'm glad to see there's quite a few songs too, there's about 19 currently. I think I'll get everything ready, but should we have another cover art competition? I think it'd be nice to have anyways, but it would push back the release by 2-3 weeks. But I guess I could do a 2-3 track "sampler" for what's coming?

Just checking up with a visual arts mod to find out about doing all this. Should be a thread up in a day or two depending on when I hear back, but I've got some important shit going on tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I can do it then.
Name of the compilation is "SCREEEAAAWW: The Sounds of Zoklet.net Volume 2" so if anyone wants to submit something you can get some ideas worked out.
Gonna go for 2 weeks to submit stuff and then 1 week of voting before it all gets put together and uploaded. Hopefully rapidshare is still around then (RIP megaupload )
Apologies again for how long this has taken, lately I've had many problems with my internet connection and a few things going on that I have been having trouble dealing with in my personal life. But hopefully there won't be any more setbacks now.
