I put a drink down and noticed some little black ants on my glass. Trying to bring out the Bear Grylls in me I licked them off and chewed them.

They are tangy and sour with a definite kick to them.

I will definitely be doing this in the future.

i was on a survival course once, we ate ants (though out of a paket with chilly power on)

but nothing wrong with small hits of protein. (insects most amount of protein for size)
i would eat more ants, did you did and try the grubs? what were they like?
(if you can find their sugar supply too!, just mean all the ants will prob die)

They are easy to get too. Just put a small pile of sugar on the cement and there will be a shitload of ants on it in a few hours. Make candy bars out of them.
