Where to buy Military Issued Rifles and Guns

I seriously want an M4A1, or HK Mark 23 Mod 0, but I can't seem to find anyone with one. I've seen all over the internets that people have managed to purchase genuine ones.

I'll go South at gun shows or look for ex-military if I have to, but I can't seem to find anyone.

I live in North Dakota, the state of nothing but land, hills, varmints and pigeons that must die. And no one cares if you have a rifle or gun here, as long as you don't point it at the townspeople. I just can't seem to get my hands on shit.

Gunbroker.com has them. If you want the military version of the M4A1 you have to fill out some paperwork and pay a $200 fee to the BATFE since its considered an SBR. Theres also a few places on the internet that sell them for ~$1200. I'm in the process of buying one now, thing that sucks is the BATFE takes 60-90 days average to approve the application for an SBR. Mark 23s usually sell for between $1000 and $1300, its not that great of a pistol though, I've handled one and its fucking gigantic. A USP would be a much better choice IMO.

You are not seeing "M4A1s", you are seeing M4geries like mine:



A real deal M4A1 can't be purchased, I'm not going to drone on and on about the specifics, but it can't be done.

You could, however, but a rifle to M4A1 specs by acquiring a registered M16A1 lower or a drop in autosear and topping it off with a Colt 6921 upper.

But that would cost about $8,000.

Also, H&K discounted the Mark 23, but it wasn't that great of a pistol anyways so no big loss.
