The idiot plainly saw the mother and child and then decided to drive right over them just because he had the right of way. Pedestrians do have the right of way but I'll compare this to crossing train tracks when the gates are down. Obviously she knew the traffic light was changing, due to her litereally RUNNING across the intersection. Just like when the gates are down you know a train is coming. If you try and beat the train and get smashed, it's your own damn fault. Of course there are no gates at cross-walks, but there is something called the 'walk signal'. And obviously, this dumb fuck wasn't paying attention to it.

The SUV driver is in no way at fault. There is no way they could have seen the stupid mexicans crossing the street.The light was green. When the light is green you aren't looking for pedestrians, and generally assume some dumb bitch won't run in front of your car. I admit maybe the driver should have been aware, but unless they were looking specifically towards where the mexican bitch came from, there is no way they could have seen her with the RV in the way.

I almost got hit by a car going like 60mph when I was coming home from a rave (high on ketamine and mdma no less) crossing a area with a stop sign AND a crosswalk (from an exit off the highway going onto a huge ass street in nyc). I can't believe I almost died to some fucking drunken idiot driving a 2 ton machine like its a toy.


When your driving a car you are controlling a projectile with tons of kinetic energy. You should be alert and you should not rely on signs to keep obstructions away.
