That private message was funny, that whole thread was funny. 60 days I too harsh. We need some kinds "VIP status" when it comes to infractions/bans because too many of the good posters get banned for too long.

I get why the rules are there but Keith lemon, blunder, they arnt new people spamming bullshit (just older)and many come here for their lulz. So basically I won't see another funny blunder thread for 2 months, gee great.

My overall point we have hundreds of lurkers, dozens of posters mostly. That's only due to good content/posters. I don't come here for the pics, it's all about the content. I may be wrong but realistically there's about 40 good/regular posters. If you ban a bunch of those, why come to the website if your a lurker? You can say "oh they only post troll bullshit" ya, and it's fun to read. I could be the only one that thinks this way so what the fuck ever.

We actually gave blunderful more chances than we usually give people. Call it favoritism, if you want, but we all feel like he's the sort of guy who'll usually stop being a dumbass if you ask/remind him to few times. The thing is, he's gone on a shit posting streak recently, and, after a few warnings (official and non-official ones), he kept going (mostly making a lot of threads in places they didn't belong + posting the stupid Toothless Joe pic everywhere). The only infraction I gave him has been reversed (I hoped a small half-day time out would make him stop). I also gave him official and non-official warnings, asking him to stop. I'm sure other moderators did the same, based on how long it took him to actually get banned. So yeah, we cut blunderful a lot of slack.

The mod who banned blunderful could choose to reverse the infraction and let him back sooner, but, at this point, that's completely up to him. Anyway, the guy hasn't exactly been contributing any real content lately, and he has been giving the mods a lot to clean up, so it's not a big (temporary) loss, as far as I'm concerned.

It's rare that I take the time to give an explanation that's longer than two sentences, so I hope that clears things up.

Paragon, those are good points. Also take into account that he hasn't been posting much content lately because, he keeps getting banned for stupid reasons. Yea I'm sure he gets warned plenty, but also we are talking about blunder.

Well, I do thank you for the explanation, but I still feel he should be cut even more slack. He's an essential poster and all he did was post a goddamn video everybody here has access to, has seen, or knows of anyway. I say no banning truly useful users unless they hack the site or incite criminal activity or something else very serious.

Although he usually posts plenty of garbage, sometimes he goes too far. When he posts three content-less threads in my forum, bumps six others, and posts random pics of Toothless Joe all over the place, that's a lot of work for me. Still, I pretty much let him go on all of it, giving him just a warning and a flooding infraction that I reversed within half a day. The thing is, I wasn't the only mod having to deal with his recent behavior, so someone was bound to have had enough of him (very understandably, especially when considering the moderators of the more serious/structured forums). If he didn't want to get banned, he had plenty of time to stop doing all the shit he was doing. As Fish put it, he seems like one of those kids in school who would occasionally act up and purposely get in trouble, just because he likes getting the teacher's attention from time to time. He'll be back soon enough, and hopefully he'll get back to posting sexy content instead of being a nuisance again.

Everyone should keep in mind that a moderator's job is not hard in the least. All of Blunder's bullshit amounts to a minor inconvenience for mods/admins. But you dicks banning him amounts to a total loss of lulz.
