Default Changing ESN on Verizon iphone 4

Wondering if there's any way to change the ESN on a Verizon iphone 4 to the current ESN of my sprint phone and use the iphone on sprint.

Is it easy to change the ESN of the Verizon iphone 4 after it has been jailbroken?

There are ways. I don't know of any, but I think it can be done.

Actually, I'm fairly certain it depends on the hardware. Don't quote me here, but I don't think GSM phones will work on a CDMA network and vice versa. I won't google it because this thread really shouldn't exist without a thorough google search, anyway.

No GSM and CDMA are not interchangable, and I'm pretty sure you can't just change an ESN. I believe that was fixed a long time ago.

Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA carriers, therefore the Verizon iphone4 is a CDMA phone.

As far as I know AT&T and T-Mobile are the only major carriers that operate with the same network (HSPDA or some such bullshits), and T-Mo is now or will be merged with AT&T.

I haven't stayed up to date because I have no dog in that fight, so feel free to prove me wrong. But, I'm fairly certain that I am right.

MEID/ESN cloning is still possible, though. I don't think it'll have the desired result you're looking for if indeed you do find a way. The info is out there if you'll take the time to look. You're not a baby, so I won't do it for you. I have my own kid to tend to. I will give you a starting point that may not be entirely relevant, but it should give you an idea of what you should be looking for.

CDMA Workshop. Google that shit. It won't work for a GSM iProduct, but maybe that'll help you find the Verizon equivalent.

Yo bruh. Verizon is actually CDMA.

AT&T and T-Mobile are GSM. (SIM card, like 99% of the rest of the world)

Sprint is CDMA too.

And to the OP. You can't change the ESN, it's hardware based.

Well, fuck. I have been grossly misinformed. My suggestion to search for CDMA Workshop is even better now.

There is a version that can be downloaded for "free." Otherwise, you'll have to pay for the latest version.

Nope. Sell it to a chump on eBay. "Accidentally" provide your friend's working ESN as proof its good
