Yeah, I've always felt the struggle for liberation in Palestine transcends religious belief or nationalist ideology, it's driven by something more straightforward and human. They're just people suffering at the hands of the same governments, systems, Zionists and corporations as the rest of the world, only to a much greater and direct degree than others.
It's something I should read more about though, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable on this subject as I could be. I'm working through Lenin's 'Imperalism' and some books about Communism in the UK now, you can get distracted from real current events when you get caught up in all the theory.
