So? Thats your environment. Those who are better adapted to survive will.
If hurricane winds were fatal to you, and you lived in flordia, you wouldn't produce a very large family would you.

That occurs to a random batch of people. Should those people be strong, weak, it doesn't matter. It's a matter of luck when you are dealing with natural disaster. You can't "adapt" to lava flowing can you?

Jack Lalanne was the fittest man who ever lived; able to pull hundreds of people by boat just using his teeth. He exercised every day, ate right, and lived to be 96.
He didn't die from old age though. He died from pnemonia.

You can adapt to running fast, and you can adapt to being smart enough not to live near a fucking active volcano.

DARWINISM?!?!?!?!

Did he have kids? If so no. If he didn't have kids, then yes, that is darwinism. Not so much due to pnemonia, more to him sucking at knocking up bitchez.

God damn you are stupid. You're missing the point. But I'll humor you one more time.
If you live in an earth quake region, make sure your house isn't made of heavy concrete blocks. Try Bamboo.

Why can't you just accept that humans can't escape natural disasters? I don't understand why you are mad. Different environment exists everywhere and being strong or weak doesn't matter when an overwhelming Earthquake occurs.

Because they can? Not as a whole, but on an individual level it is possible to survive natural disasters, and thats darwinism you fuck.

What is it with brown people and natural forces? They can't stay away from each other.

That's not Darwinism because no one can survive a 10 ton cinder block falling on their heads, nor can they survive overwhelming floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, or landslides. And I don't know why you are mad.

No one can anyone survive an artic winter naked, yet some people are smart enough to make coats out of seal fun. Some people are smart enough to use bamboo instead of concrete in know earthquake regions. Behavior is just as important as physical fitness.

Quote:
The term "Darwinism", ... has numerous meanings depending on who has used the term and at what period. A better understanding of the meaning of this term is only one reason to call attention to the composite nature of Darwin's evolutionary thought.
... One particulary cogent reason why Darwinism cannot be a single monolithic theory is that organic evolution consists of two essentially independent processes, as we have seen: transformation in time, and diversification in ecological and geographical space. The two processes require a minimum of two entirely independent and very different theories.

I don't know and theres no point speculating. The Japanese who were good swimmers survived. Natural selection played its part there.
Most Japanese moved away from the radiation, but some didn't. They will probably die. Natural selection.

Fact: all the Japanese died because survival was impossible!
The islands are therefore up for the taking, but be prepared. No one survives a natural disaster. It is impossible. Give up now!

Depending on when you get hit by it, and what its gone through. It might be pure water and sand if your by the beach, or might be a rice field. Or it might be a parking lot. In that case you better hope your experienced at frogger.
And obviously there is an element of luck to surviving a natural disaster, but that doesn't mean natural selection doesn't also play its role. Luck is a part of darwinism.

Maybe a swimmer would have been in the ocean swimming, where the tsunami would be edit:barely noticeable?

Re: lets all stand infront of a massive waterfall
Talking of the tsunami in Japan and natural selection. Has anyone seen news of how all along the coasts of Japan there (well in some areas there are, I'm not sure how much of the coastline has them) are large old stone markers warning not to build below their elevation? How people still built below them even though some people had been through previous tsunamis or their parents had.
How instead of running to high ground the Japanese predilection for obeying authority caused them to gather at low elevation shelters or students gathered in their school's gym to wait for their parents. Even when higher land was nearby.
Subsuming their survival instinct to their usually beneficial urge to conform.

Show me one natural disaster that killed EVERYONE it came into contact with. People survive earthquakes, tsunamis, fires and radiation. The ones who survive are better adapted to live in that environment, and thats fucking natural selection you shit head.

How do you explain all the people who've moved far from the reactors vs the others who have stayed? People who are able to run vs those who are genetically unable to?

The ones who survived are LUCKY that a 50 pound boulder didn't drop on their head, not because they're strong.
