Looool, I wanna deconstruct some of these guys.

Far right, in the back, with the blue shirt. His arms are folded, a sign of defensiveness. Very low self esteem, and probably hates women. His only friend is the boy to the left of him; a likeable fellow, albeit annoying, which is why the rest don't enjoy his company.

Now look at the girl standing just ahead, with the cat ears, headphones around her neck, and short shorts. She's the most attractive girl there, and she knows it. She lives on attention, hence the crazy getup and the surrounding of herself with angsty, hormone-driven losers. She has probably or exagerated a made up tale of abuse in her life; something she uses to get closer to the boys she actually likes.

Moving on to the chap kneeling across diagnoally from her. He wears a suit and hat; something he slightly plays off as comedic, but is really used to create the image he wants for himself. However, no. A suit doesn't make the man; experience makes the man, something this kid has none of. He most likely has a smug attitude, and is only liked by the rest of the group out of intimidation. Not strong intimidation, or fear, or anything like that... just... "This guy seems cool, I better be nice to him".

The boy right at the front of the group, kneeling down in the grey shirt with glasses. Although he is geeky, he is the most likeable of the first group of nerds (I'll get to that in a second). He is most likely a hit with the women, and may even have a chance. I think the guy to the right of him has down syndrome. Just kidding, but that's an unfortunate look he's pulling there.

I mentioned how there was a first group of nerds in that photo. I believe the nerds are split into two groups - the young and the old. The old ones are on the left of the photo, the man on the far left in the green shirt being the least mature. A parents' dissapointment, to be sure.

The guy right next to him with the pen in his mouth; he tries to give the illusion that he is insane, something which, ironically, does make him mentally unbalanced/annoying. He will have a revelation in his early 20s, and become a decent, normal member of society.

Now for the two most normal, likeable people in the photo. The two glasses-wearing fellows, one with short spikey hair, and one with long. They're awkward, yes, but they are definately the people you'd want to hang out with if you at that convention. There is a guy with sort of big ears standing behind them, and while he looks pretty normal, probably gives off a "better than you" attitude, especially in a place like that.

Long hair glasses is definitely a cool guy, and the guy on the far right looks likeable.

edit:The chick with the crazy getup thinks she's coolest person there, but if a regular person approached her she would be awkward as shit.
