So, tonight, in the mood for something a little different, I dosed up. It took a bit to kick in. After only 20 minutes, I began to feel a tangible euphoria. I started by watching eastbound and down. After that, I turned on V for Vendetta, which I hadn't seen since it came out. And, since I was drunk then, I didn't remember any of it. Yea, I drink in theaters, what of it?!?!



In any case, I was watching this movie. As time went on, it seemed more and more profound. I think I even creamed my pants a few times. After a while, a sense of divinity and destiny overwhelmed me. I turned off the movie and laid in my bed, in the dark.

Though I wasn't moving, I felt as if I was traveling through dimensions. Through memories, not only of things past, but of things yet to come. Up and down, left and right, back and forth. I whirled through an endless tunnel of raw, unfiltered perception. Not just this universe, but every universe. The whole of the multiverse right in front of my eyes.

It got so strong my head felt like it contained the fire of a thousand suns. Planets, galaxies, lifeforms unknown to mankind. At last, I found myself in the presence of none other than GOD. The only thing I felt was dread. The terror of being in the eye of the thing that is all of creation.

It reached out its hand. Its hand was not physical, or even 3-dimensional, but rather a hand of pure knowledge. It gave me a choice. An old choice.

You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

My head pounded. My heart did too. Fear. Indescribable fear. My blood turned to ice. I saw my life again. I saw my brain, inside and out. It all seemed so small, yet secure. I knew my brain. I knew my planet, my galaxy, my universe. But the multiverse in front of me seemed so alien. Yet, at the same time, enticing.

Omniscience has been my aim ever since I could first comprehend the concept. But now, with the whole of creation in my mind's eye, it seemed more than I could fathom. My heart stopped. Time hung eternal.

I took the blue pill. I woke up in my bed, and posted on zoklet. Wassup gaiz?

yeah i used to do that lay in bed in complete darkness on acid. i had the same thing riding round the universe and like i was in some mad virtual reality world of my own imagination. for me it was as though i was sitting in a gyroscope where i could just turn to any direction at will and then shoot of across space at lightspeed. at one point i willed my hands into little mouths with rows of sharp chattering teeth and went all up my body eating off the flesh. then looked down at my fleshless skeleton laying there. definitely one of the top 3, i'll never forget that one.

next time you get to the control room, if you decide to take the red pill be ready for some knowledge that you may have not wanted. like for instance, you must first suffer before you can experience bliss. stretch that out over an infinite span of time and try not to fight it.

Fuck that. I've always preferred downers to psychedelics. As enlightening as this evening was, I don't know that I want to go back there any time soon. Knowledge is some scary shit when you're not ready for it.

There is no way to prepare for something like that. That's why I'm looking forward to the next time I jump in head first mixing psychedelics at ridiculous doses. Threshold is high now, got to be careful.

Usually when somebody just says, "I dosed (up)," in reference to tripping, without naming a specific drug, I just assume LSD. Or at least, blotter tabs that are supposed to be LSD.

TBH, there was a lot flowing in my system that night. And I didn't specify what. Nor do I plan to.



I will say this, though, a lot of it was a serendipitous surplus of endogenous neurotransmitters. I can't be sure, but my guess it was 5HT agonists and endorphins.

It's not a trip report if you don't specify WHAT you took. You might as well just say "I took drugs and was fucked up". It conveys the same message. A report is an accurate, detailed summary.

What you call a report, I would call a Saturday night lol.

I contend your definition. A trip report need only be, as the name suggests, a report of a trip. I good trip report requires specifics of dosage and timeline, but a barebones one is what I wrote. Plus, I meant more to report on the nature of all things psychedelic. The above is one of a million similar experiences, but I thought some might benefit in hearing it from me.

Not true at all. IMO, in essence, all psychedelics are supposed to do the same thing: radically shift your perspective.

Its true, it is pretty much the most general experience anyone could have if they were open to it but coming from you I think it would have a greater impact on the crowd here than say from someone like me, which I have written similar reports before.

As for the substance, it really doesn't matter what he took. The point is the journey.
