WoW Prepaid game cards.

I have been lurking on this site for a long while and finally built up the nerves to register myself. I'm most likely going to be accused of being a "Mudfarmer" but I guess thats what a lot of the new people on here deal with. I do plan on bringing in constructive feedback and info to the forums. That being said....

A friend of mine recently aquired a large quantity of prepaid WoW game cards (mainly 60 day cards) due to an inventory slip-up.

I was wondering what would be the best way for him to disperse of these game cards, since none of the people we know play WoW anymore.

I figured ebay, craigslist ect, but it would look kinda fishy posting hundreds of these online. Any suggestions?

Even if you tried to pass them off as working, I don't think there'd be much of a market, as it's common knowledge that they must be activated, and posting several hundred would be totally suspicious.

Couldnt the buyers activate them when they got them? If I activate them then wouldnt they be useless since they are activated to an account?

These cards work like gift cards, they're worthless until purchased, seeing as these ones haven't been purchased they can't be used. If it weren't for this then people would just steal them from the shops.

My friend knows a way to get them activated. Ill just tell him to space out selling them online, and also going to nearby universities and colleges to sell to the students.

The older 60-day cards that game inside of a game like case was ready for play. Used to be a good market.

The newer ones activate at register like the xbox cards you see everywhere. I don't get why blizzard waited until around last year to upgrade their shit.

You might be able to get away with selling them to a website that buys cards, etc. However they would most likely figure out they aren't activated and send 'em back. Other than that, sell to someone stupid on craigslist for cash.
