I might have a poltergeist
Last night I was in my room and heard a loud shattering sound, like someone smashing a window or dropping a large plate. I looked around my room to see if anything had fallen on a glass or if anything had spontaneously shattered. I found nothing. I'm not sure of the exact room temperature, but it was comfortable/warm. After I heard the shatter it got very cold, which may have been my fear. I decided to attempt to communicate with whatever entity may have made the noise.
I retrieved my crystal ball from its box and set it on its stand. I said aloud something to the effect of "If a spirit made the noise and would like to communicate, come in peace or go now."
I turned all the lights out, save a tea candle. This gives the effect of silvery milky smoke condensing in the ball. In scrying, this material eventually takes shape.
I briefly saw vague images of birds which brought to mind the creatures in Magic: The Gathering. My brother and I play this, and I wondered if the noise was the result of unraveling psychic tension that has been tightly wrapped since our childhood. We've been playing Magic lately and spending a lot of time together.
I then had a revelation about the nature of social interactions which I'm reluctant to share.
My other brother's family has moved in to the house. He has a history of anger and rage issues.(now well contained at least) He also suffers from epilepsy. One of his children, age 7, has been diagnosed with Asberger's syndrome and worries more than a child should. Poltergeists are the manifestations of stress, typically of children going through puberty. My nephew is burdened with more stress than most people of any age so I suspect it is coming from him.
I'm going to attempt continued communication. Has anything like this happened to any of you?
