No, it was actually very well written and the person supposedly really did it.

He got a fake ID, bought a prepaid mobile with that ID, went to a town far away from his home in like a business suit, went into a bar, chatted up this random chick then said he had to go to a business meeting.

A few weeks later he meets up with her, has sex without a condom, then goes back home. A few weeks later she calls his fake mobile and tells him she's pregnant, then he tells her everything he said was fake, he isn't rich etc. and she doesn't even know his real name.

He hangs up, throws away the mobile, gets on with life knowing he fucked up hers. It's like 7 years later now or whatever, he looks at her Facebook sometimes and he says her kid looks exactly like him.
