here's my new idea(read first)
go in to the atm take off the cover(door thing) and mount a cam on the cover then i have it aimed when it open it looks at the combo, then when the guy fills it the cam will record the combo, wait about half an hour after the guy leaves(bank guy) take the cam home and watch it and put it on my mp4 and go rob the atm with the combo

i plan on painting the cam what ever colur it is inside the cover

no need for power tools and no alarms will go off, it will be the prefect crime

The ATM that was at my last place of employment really was not that complicated... FROM WHAT I REMEMBER, it was just two normal (pickable) key locks to get to the money box. One for the cover, and one for the access panel. This was a small, older, very cheap ATM. The inside of these things isn't that complex, the bottom was mostly empty except for one slide out money box filled with 20s. I could probably get to the money box with a crowbar.
The more I think about it It's starting to sound like a good bad idea.
Newer units is certainly another story.
A small business owner with one of these generic ATMs (no bank association) is NOT going to put anything close to 20k in one of these, probably more like 1 or 2 maybe 3.
If it is owned by a bank, they might put more in to reduce the frequency of their workers having to go reload it. And they are almost certainly going to be more high tech and secure.
This makes sense to me, but I'm no expert. Just educated guesses.
