I was returning to my Civics class after smoking some methamphetamine in the bathroom when I saw all the TV's on, and the class watching the attacks on the twin towers.

I was in 5th grade and we got held in for recess for no reason. My teacher thought this was retarded and decided to explain to the class what happened and why the administration didn't think it was a good idea to tell us. Then we turned on the news. I remember when I went home everyone was freaking out.

What's fucked up is that less than 2 weeks before that me and my family were going through NYC and as we crossed the George Washington bridge I remember seeing the Twin Towers and pointing them out.

Economics class. A different teacher came in and said something to my econ teacher. She got up and turned on the TV and we all just sat there wonder thinking, "Damn, that sucks."
We changed classes 15 minutes late and I got to geometry class just in time to see the second plane hit. Shortly after my mom picked my sister and I up from school and we hung out at Dairy Queen because my cousin owns it and had a TV in the lobby. No one was ordering or eating anything. We were all just watching and wondering what the fuck just happened. Remember it like yesterday. Certainly a defining moment in the lives of many Americans.

haha, we had a moment of silence and somebody in the hallways screamed REALLY loud like a bitch and knocked some heavy shit over (trying to scare people) and they never found out who it was. we got out of school early and i searched for more information about the attacks online while playing code veronica and that online game on dreamcast. at least i think that's what happened.

I was a bit young an didn't really get why my parents were acting so serious when I woke up and they had the news on to the towers burning an falling. Then at school that day my teacher was just crying an I couldn't really understand why it was such a big deal.

I still have a picture of myself as a wee lad standing on top of one of the towers a few years prior to the attacks along with my ticket stub from entering the building.

Skipping class, maybe sophomore or junior year in high school. At a waffle house with a gf, saw it on the tv and the shock overcame me. It truly was surreal.

I'm not American but I remember being woken super early by my parents and them showing me it on the TV, it must have been about 5am where I was because that's normally when my parents got up and I was really unimpressed. Watched the 2nd plane go into the tower 'live'.

Then I went to school were we proceeded to watch it in most of my classes.

I was chillin' in my 3rd grade classroom. My teacher turned on the radio and started crying. About a 1/3 of the other kids got picked up early.

My parents didn't react to it at all, really. I really didn't give a shit until we went to war, and then the only thing I feared was a draft (at 8 yrs old, lol).

right when i was about to leave, my mom saw it on TV and was like "oh my god, that's terrible..."

i didn't really get it or care.

some little kid ran up to me that day and was like, "i heard over 100 people died!!!"

my friends and i were like " duh"
