Robbing a Political Action Committee
So I was just reading that Republican hopeful Herman Cain apparently got his own Political Action Committee together to siphon millions of corporate bucks to undermine finance laws and whatnot, and that got me thinking: what possible ways would there be to steal from a PAC?
Way I figure it, probably the best way to go about it would be to do some precision coercion and the like against the PAC's financial manager or whatever. I imagine all that shit about who's who in these things has got to be public out the wazoo since they're directly funding election efforts, so finding out who manages the accounts should be a piece of cake. Once that's done, do some recon, scope out patterns and behaviors, then strike at their weakest moment. Maybe do a raid during the night and take everybody hostage, then do the "transfer X into a bank account in the Cayman Islands or we blow your wife/husband/son/daughter's brains out" and if you wanna' be super-paranoid about it set up some kind of a small explosive device and a pin-camera or something so that you can monitor their actions and blow them to kingdom come if they fuck around.
Completily hypothetical, of course, and even more pie-in-the-sky than most other threads here, but certainely an interesting thought as the election season approaches.
