Suggesting search engines & suggesting keywords to search for = immediate infraction

Just a warning to you all who frequent Frag Yard, since xip has decided not to give any. If you post a link to a search engine and suggest keywords to search for on that search engine in Fragyard, you will be immediately given a 7-point infraction. He has decided that posting a direct link to warez (ie: http://www.randomsite.com/randomwarez.zip) is exactly the same as posting a link to a search engine with keywords in it (ie: http://searchengine.com/search.php&randomgame). He will also not give at least one warning before issuing the infraction for posting a search engine link, and yet wires and the other admins have repeatedly stated every member should be getting at least one warning before going to point-infractions.

Posting a link to a search engine with keywords in it is entirely legal, and no host would ever have an issue with it as long as it was not direct links to the files. The search engine actually posts the direct links to the files, not the person posting the link to the search engine. On top of that, organizations such as RapidShare operate completely legitimately and within the law because they do not actually host the files they point to on their own servers; this makes it completely legal, and no host should have any issue at all if they are not hosting files. But xip has decided to make up his own rules and take it many steps further than what is actually required in this situation.

Just thought you all should know how shitty this mod is because he doesn't even know how to mod a forum properly, has no clue about what is and isn't legal or off-limits according to the host's service own agreement, and basically fires off infractions just because he can.

It's just unbelievable how spastic most of the mod team is here. I mean, they gotta be some of the worst mods I've ever seen. They have no clue about legalities, no clue about their own forum's rules, and most of them just seem to me to be some kind of 28 year old kid living in their mother's basement or something. Of course, there's still a few good mods, like Rust, Shady, MunkeyQ, LavaRed, o_RLY and Euda, but these "mods" like xip, zos, Vladie, Ygg, 5.56 are just basically basement dwellers with no life who have no clue how to operate a BBS. Pretty soon the entire mod group here will just be a bunch of losers like over at the Totse clone.

Take Vizier here, for example. Started off great... actually had some principles and oomph to go along with him, then he turned into a worthless waste of bandwidth as soon as he got behind a mod control panel. Now he just posts worthless garbage and clutters up the threads with his meaningless drivel... feels he doesn't even need to try anymore. It's sad the way people degenerate into puddles of goo with no backbone as soon as they get a few perks.

When Tacho first became a mod, he was probably one of the shittiest mods in history. Moving content because he "felt like it", classifying posts as spam/trolling before actually reading them (this is how me and Tacho first became acquainted, as he moved completely valid posts of mine from a thread in BI into the off-topic thread. However, he saw his mistake later on and moved my posts back.). Now he's gotten a lot better, but he's just a shit mod, not one of the shittiest. In regards to his principals, he has none, -SpectraL. Except some sort of criminal code shit like no snitching.

Well, that's a tough one because there are so few. Let's see now... Snoopy's kinda done that... sort off. He used to be ALL meaningless bullshit, all snot-nosed and shit-dropping, but now he actually has the odd useful, interesting or meaningful post to contribute. There's a couple others, but not too many. A lot of these kidiots have been going for literally 5+ years now and are still going strong to this day.
