Hypothetically say somebody successfully stole 6.6 million dollars and has the money in pure cash, but say thief need an escape plan, what should she or he do? Let's say the institutional he stole it from has no ideas it was her or him. Since the thief used somebody else's identity, multiple disguises, public computers with no cameras, and mac address hidden, and the computer was not register or bought in the thief's name and the computer was disposed, so there is no evidents. AS for the escape plan what would be the best & easiest way for her or him to get out of the country to a non extradited country with all her or his loot with? What's the fastest money laundering process in this day and age where the thief would be able to wash his bills fast and get the most for his bucks? Say for every 10 dirty dollars he can get back 9 dollars.
Once the money is clean the thief can then wired the money over to the oversea country easily right? Or even better carry the whole 6.6 million dollars with them on the plan? Couldn't the thief just skip the money laundering process and just wired the money instantly to a friend or family overseas before the institution find out that it was missing the money? Do banks Check for paperwork, where the money come from before they wired a large sum of money like say 6.6 million dollars? Are there any cases like this in the news?

And Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, mailing & delivering services would just let people just send millions worth of gold overseas?? They would probably check what ever that's being send carefully before they send it, if millions worth of gold is being send by mail those companies would probably report it to the IRS & government officials.

Would a regular bank wire for the 6.6 mill be stopped in the transfer process? I mean if the money gets wire, the friend that lives overseas can just withdraw the money real fast no?

actually 5 pound of gold is worth over $100,000, so not so long. x-rays would find most of it tho and it would get confiscated. your best bet if time is a factor is a privately chartered boat. unless your capable of sailing one yourself in which case buy something cheap that is sea worthy enough to cross an ocean or get you where you want to go. if your in the US going to s america don't be tempted to just hug the coast as the coast guard could fuck you. make sure you are well into international waters.

it all depends on where the money is from tho. if its likely or there is any chance that the authorities will know the serial numbers then you need to be very careful. money from a bank robbery, major fraud or ransom will all have the numbers logged. depositing it into any bank or financial institution will get you caught. even depositing it into foreign banks could cause you problems. even in a country that doesn't have extradition with the US, you could well have dodgy officials and bankers. if they find out the money is dirty and your not connected in any way, you may go to check your balance and find its turned to zero overnight.

if its not such a rush to leave the country then you might be better off switching the cash to notes that are not known. best way for that would be to buy large amounts of smack or coke and get a few guys to shot it out for you. especially if you could buy lumps from foreigners or in mexico. you wanna be very wary dealing with those people tho, and don't tell them how much you got under any circumstances. just say you inherited fifty or hundred grand or something.

open a few service based businesses that you can launder the cleaner cash thru, hairdressers are good. any business that could potentially provide a service to lots of people for cash. so salons, massage parlours, night clubs, even bowling alleys(why do you think the mob are often in these types of businesses) are good examples. the authorities have no way of checking how many customers you have a day so everyday just happened to be an exceptionally good day. you can either make more money by running the business well, or have it closed most of the day, not advertise, whatever, its up to you. but just keep plenty of cash going thru everyday into the bank. again don't put a single note thru your business if the authorities may know the serial numbers, semi clean it first.

the most vulnerable time is when you first go from being a broke ass nobody to suddenly having a large amount of money. the temptation to want to spend up a bit or party is hard to resist and its easy to trip up and spend the wrong money in the wrong place. you have to be very patient and take things easy. don't trust anyone cause if they find out you have access to that amount they will do all sorts of nasty shit to get it from you. a lot of successful crooks go on to get kidnapped and tortured and end up having to give the money up. split it up at least is the first thing you should do. never tell anyone, including what you think is an anonymous internet forum that you are in possession of 6.6million dollars.

You have to fill out forms for anything over $10,000 going out, IIRC. And, the country you're trying to go to has their own limits for the amount of cash you could bring in. "Nonextraditable" countries aren't necessarily known for their honesty. OP would be lucky if he was allowed to keep the clothes on his back.

There is still 100 million in bonds out there backed by the US Government, find someone who has some and buy them.

Luxembourg, Austria, Singapore, Hong Kong, Andorra and Monaco all are countries that have bank secrecy laws where LE will not be able to touch your money. Picking a country that has a stable government (Luxemborg is in europe, best choice IMO)

You convert the cash to Bearer bonds, you fly to the country easily sticking a few (I'd break 6 mil into bonds of 50k) sheets of paper that the bonds are on in your carryon. Once in the banking country you choose, open a safe deposit box at what you think is the most secure bank and put the bonds in there. Cash them as you need them.

You need to find a country (my favorite is Argentina) which does not have an extradition treaty with the United States, once you get there live the dream but keep a low profile.
