I would make prisons one cell per person, and have them never leave the cell the entire sentence, and have toilet, and shower behind a wall, so no one can see. The food would be sent in through the bars, and visitation would be through the bars. They would get basic cable, if serving a term over 1 year.

I would make it illegal to have any consecutive terms, whatever the most severe term is, is the one served, for multiple crimes.

I would make it illegal for there to be more then one cop per 5,000 people, and make it illegal for them to leave the police station, unless responding to a call.

I would make possession of dangerous drugs under 10 grams punishable by mandatory drug treatment incarceration, instead of prison. I would make weed legal under 10 grams, and make it a fine, and confiscation, optional by cop, if between a pound, and ten grams. It would be 6 months in jail, if over a pound.

I would make the punishment for murder 10 to 20 years, robbery 3 to 5 years, grand theft auto 1 to 3 years, and rape 1 to three years. I would make using a fake gun during a robbery theft, and criminal threats of violence, instead of armed robbery. I would make it illegal for car companies to design cars that are not designed to never break. I would make all jobs have mandatory 60 hour per week shifts, with overtime. I would make hiring a person with education requirements mandatory, without an interview, on site, as soon as application is turned in. I would drop the age of consent to 12, and make child molestation punishable by 5 years for female, and 15 years for boy. I would legalize guns to the point where you just go in, and buy one, with an id proving you are over 18 in some states, and completely ban guns in others. I would keep assault weapons legal.

I would make all jail, or prison terms bailable, and have it be the full term, plus 4 zero's. So if you killed multiple people, you could bail with $200,000.

Why? And it would be illegal for busnisses to refuse service, or kick out anyone who isn't breaking any laws. And loitering wouldn't be illegal. And it would be illegal for any business not designated a small business to not be open 24 hours. This would include public libraries.

And it would be illegal to place someone under citizen's arrest, without it being deemed assault, and kidnapping, and carry a 1 to 3 year prison sentence. Robbery would be ripping something out of someone's hand, or taking it off their person, theft would be just taking it, like pick pocketing, or purse snatching. For the prisons and the consecutive terms, I agree, and there are a lot of opinions on these.

One cop per 5000 people ? Where I live there's one cop per 300 people and the crime rate is exploding year after year.
If the cops don't patrol in the streets, how do you expect they respond to a call if the victim can't make a call anymore ? How do you expect to deter people from committing crimes if they don't fear the presence of cops ?

Your views on drugs are very strange. If you send to jail people owning more than one pound of weed, why don't you do the same for one pound minus one gram ? Your method will be appreciated by dealers.

Alcohol-

All dry laws at the state level will be abolished, and it will be legal for one to produce under 100 gallons of alcohol at one time in their own home from the age of 16. Marijuana-
The marijuana industry will be legalized and taxed like alcohol. Marijuana consumption will be limited to those over the age of 18. Legislation will be passed limiting the amount of marijuana a grower can produce, in order to keep the industry dominated by independent growers. Consumption will be limited likewise like alcohol.

-Tobacco would be made outright illegal and punishable by a fine of 500$ for possession of any amount. Dealing tobacco would result in 6 months hard labor.
-Wine would be legal for 8 year olds and older to have up to two glasses given by the parents under their discretion, everything else would be 16+ the only exception being that no alcohol can be purchased until age 18.

I believe strongly on some of these, so if you want to know more information as to why i think on what i do just ask, here are some:

-I would make and form of gay/lesbian marriage illegal.

-Any kind of murder, unless proved accidental or executed in the act of self defense, shall be punished on the penalty of death exactly 1 year after the trial. ( so they can think about what they did before they die )

-Tobbaco will be illegall, but for those who currently are smokers/chewers and cannot break the addiction, there will be nicotine patches.

-marajuana will be legal for use only if over the age of 21, and will be taxed. If caught DWI with marajuana, or to be participating in any motor-skill required activities, licenses will be suspended for a minimum of 5 years and jail penalties will begin at 10 years minimum of prison.

-any drugs- lsd,meth,crack,cocaine,special k, shrooms etc. will be illegalized, and penalties under law will be minimal punishment of 15 years.

-All guns will be legal to own, including full auto and explosives (full auto and explosives will not be legal to buy however, its only if you already own them.) proper licenses for each and every gun you own will be required, along with a non aggresive felony, and non mental illness background.

-Handguns will be only licensed to people who can prove their identity, have a no felonies convicted,no mental illnesses, have an eyesight of 20/20, and have a environment deamed safe to store or let the weapon reside in.

-If in a non committed relationship, Ex:Boyfriend,Girlfriend,Drinking Buddy, not wearing a condom during sexual activities will be illegal.(i believe abstinence is not the answer, but neither is the spread of STD's)

These are a few ways i think will legitimately improve our country, and make it run more efficiently, and safely.

I thought of this last night. There would be real estate control laws. You could not sell a car for more then it's kelly blue book value, or a house more then what it is worth. When selling a house, or car, you must contact an assessor, who will value the item, plus it's accessories, confirming it's value. There would be a value system, based on features of the house, or add ons to the car. This would be how the government would control land value, and car values.
