Lets say you sell drugs to Bob. Bob gets caught and decides to become an informant.

Would the police ever plant a wire on Bob to catch you selling him drugs like they do in the movies?

Or do they always get Bob to try to set u up with an under cover officer?

Either scenario is likely. Depends on how the dealer operates and how much weight he's moving IMO.

I wouldn't fuck with him even over some tylenol.

They can and will do both, depending on the circumstances.

Yep theyll do both. Have anyone you're doing with smoke some bud before dealing with them. Also best never to deal with product yourself. Use slang/code names and be suspicious of anyone whos like "Id like to buy marijuana". Basic stuff, but yeah people dont follow the rules all the time once they feel comfortable then they get caught.

undercover cops are allowed to partake in drug usage to maintain cover. Although I'd love to see an undercover cop shootup. if thats what kind of product you're working with, like h for example, get the cop to use it.

Slang names do not help at ALL except to disguise it in casual conversation from randoms. If the police suspect you're dealing drugs they will pick up on it instantly. Also they very well might toke up with you.

This. Although it can help and maintain at least some plausible deniability, depending on your conversations, what's going on with the drugs, and what direct evidence they actually end up having. It's like if the *only* thing they had was a taped conversation of you saying "I want to buy some cannabis" vs "I want to buy some stuff" (shut up I've never bought weed before!), and that somehow leads to a court case, one of them is going to be a hell of a lot better.

Yes they are allowed to do drugs but they try not to with some excuse and in some instances theyll pretend to(pretend to snort a line of yay and actually sweep it off the table into their hands). If you make them smoke or something Im sure then later on you're slick jew attorney can use that in your defense somehow. It just helps you get a feel for who the person is.

If Bob becomes an informant it is likely he will be a bit uneasy around his dealer. Watch body language of him and any other potential buyers carefully it can tell you a lot. Also be aware of the way he interacts with the seller. Best advice don't deal with Bob if you are moving large quantities. Selling 20 sacks the cops don't give to much of a shit about you.

What if bob wasn't a FED? Once he finds that reverse planted wire, your out of a connect that could possibly buy you out. That's if he isn't a FED and if he didn't find the wire.
