Regardless, I don't approve of this technology (possibly the only technology I have ever disapproved of ) because my eye color is so rare and it will now be common as dirt. Assuming the procedure is able to be fine-tuned for green eyes, anyway.

Plenty of people in the Middle East have light eyes/hair, though. Also, I'm a little confused about traits like blue eyes, blond hair etc. I was under the assumption those kinds of traits all come from genetic mutations originating in Europe, but there's some groups of people that have those same traits that, as far as I know, don't have European admixture. Case in point, some Hmong people from SE Asia:

For some strange reason, alot of people think there are a few true blood native americans with blue or green eyes. It is not so. I have been thousands of traditional powwows and the only non-brown eyes are see are part bloods with both mother AND father mixed with white folks. I am a native american from brighton seminole areservation on lake okeechobee's NW shore in Florida, USA. I am old enough to remember living in a chikee when I was a child and my parents could hardly speak english. My grandparents could not speak any english except "hello". I speak both english and mvskoki' seminole (the frist language I learned)
I think this is because, starting about 20-25 years ago, every non-native person in the usa fantasizes about being an Indian. Celebrities like Megan Fox, who have blue eyes and are pretty and claim to be part native with absolutely nothing to back that up only encourages this fantasy romance.
