she had neck surgery and is still sensitive to sitting for a long time, so i'm trying to think of places out of state that wouldn't take more than 20 hours. we'd be starting all the way from south of TX.
so far i'm thinking about the states New Mexico, Arkansas, or Arizona. Maybe Colorado.
What are some good choices? We've been to almost all u.s. states, so i'm trying to think of something new and fresh. Any hidden gems you guys know of?

Wetbacks don't take "trips" to the USA - you're not fooling anybody, spic. Stay on your side of the Rio. I'm sure there's somewhere interesting to go inside your own country's borders.
Seriously though if you've got passports hitting up Mexico might be different. I checked on google maps and Tijuana is only like 25 hours away. Assuming you're at like the farthest south and west you can go and still be in Texas. What better way to bond with your mom than over some 'over the counter' klonopin, a $5 interspecies erotica show and enough cheap hookers that you could sail their corpses home?
If that's not your thing and you're both old enough to gamble and drink, Reno or Vegas might be fun. Even if you've visited Vegas with family before, if you weren't old enough to gamble/drink at the time it's a completely different city. Although Las Vegas
is sort of the American Tijuana... maybe that's not your thing either.
Unless you count driving through the beautiful Ciudad Juarez on your way to Tijuana, I have absolutely no "scenic" or "sightseeing" ideas because fuck that. Still, how many other places can you go to and be almost guaranteed to witness a murder? How many other places can you be almost guaranteed to witness
multiple murders?! Plus you might both be kidnapped by the cartels. I bet you haven't had a family roadtrip like
that before.
