all the instruments sound like shit, the background noises are nice but the fucking pizzo or w/e is godawful, that isnt dubstep, it sounds like fucking hiphop on crack, having a seizure.
Not too shabby and seems to be going in the right direction. Like more people have said more base and I was wondering can you make a track that starts from 1:00 to 1:29 to 0.04 to 1:00.
I find you come out heavy and go light at the end and I'd like to hear a set with it all switched around before you add the bass to it but all in all a nice little piece.

Since this thread has turned into a dubstep battle, here are my projects. I'm lazy and I never finish any of them, some of them I think are pretty good, others are pretty lame. Not trying to compete with Waffles though, he's obviously the most technical guy in the room.

I liked dubstep better before it got popular here and just blew up. Now everyone is obsessed with it and can't tell the difference between shitty and good dubstep.
Some of the best dubstep definitely still comes right from England, though I do really like a lot of American artists... (NOT Skrillex )
At the time that I made this, I simply clicked the first how to make dubstep video on youtube, and used the basic drum pattern and timing they did.
(Basic 140) and what I thought was a melodic bend over it.
You are all right though, this isn't dubstep. I added no drops or wub wub. I guess we call it Urbtronica.
And you want to know the truth.
I heard dubstep 3 times in my buddies car (when I was drunk it sounded killer)
And skrillex as another buddy woke up to the one that started with
CALL 911! or whatever.
Those are the 4 times I heard dubstep. Im not a huge fan, but if any of you think based on my melodic/harmony bends and simple progressions have something that could be worked into the genre (with obvious progress) then that input is appreciated.
If not ill also welcome the same criticism. Alot of you are just angry / cynical people, how does that work into tastes in music? Mystery to me, music is to be enjoyed, not loathed. Except Nickelback. Loathe Nickelback when you have a free moment.
