Okay, so I suppose that the title of this thread is a statement that is readily agreeable to most people, until we get into defining exactly who is or is not a moron. But let me cite a particular example.
There's this...young lady. I dislike her for myriad reasons, not the least of which being that she "isn't so sure" about global warming. As one of my friends put it, "well yeah - like 200 scientists agree with you, too. 200, out of ALL OF THEM in the world."
So she's a Global Warming naysayer. One could simply attribute that to being yet another ignorant American.

But then we got this little chestnut to drop: she's against stem cell research because "it's not okay for people to go around getting clones made of themselves." Or something to that effect. the general idea is that she somehow came to the conclusion that stem cells = cloning.
And you know, there's just no efficient way to enlighten folks like this. There's no easy, concise way to prove to them that their viewpoint is hopelessly flawed, and that they need to actually read a book/watch real news/ask a real person about it, because you know that anything you say will either go in one ear and out the other, or will simply fly over their heads.
Morons...
