Going To A Bar Alone

Why go to a bar instead of buying the same drinks for like 1/4th the price instead of a bar where being out is advertisement?

I'll update the thread, it'll be a good incentive. From now on, my goal is to go somewhere every other day, if I can keep that up it'd be fantastic. Not too sure about tomorrow as it's Friday, there won't be room at the bar where I went last time so I'll have to find somewhere else. I'd better go for it though, it might be alright.

I agree. I've been trying to not go out as much since my UI got cut.

A couple of beers + tip at a bar = a 6 pack of the same brand beer. A nothing beats cuisin around, drinking beers, and casing retail stores...lol

hahaha they did that to me once....my friends from my car came in to whoop ass. you see at 3 am in the morning, stores don't sell alcohol. hence bars...

Stay out of the bars man. You don't want to make bar friends, there are much better ways to spend your time and money.

Awesome you went through with it man, if you go a bit later in the night and everyone's getting drunk they won't find it awkward to talk to strangers anymore. YOu gotta remember everyone there is as socially awkward as you are sober.

Depending on the size/population of the town, becoming a regular has tons of benefits. For one, you get comfortable with the other regulars, including women(score), and secondly, if your regular enough, they will let you run a tab/get drinks at half price/free.

This happens all the time here, if you live in a city/metro area this is all irrelevant though. Don't be nervous in a bar, more than likely they're friendly people, if they weren't up for casual conversation with total strangers they wouldn't be there in the first place.
