That's the scam. They know that the few channels people actually watch aren't worth a monthly bill of >$50, so they try to get us to think that "more channels = better" and cram every crappy two-bit channel and foreign channel into one big mess for a nominal free of $110 /mo. This is why I don't pay for cable. If I could choose what channels to pay for, I'd probably end up paying them $5 a month at most. Really, there are only a handful of channels I give a fuck about, and usually they are rerunning a how I liked from years ago because modern TV sucks dick.

Maybe cable will have to change their ways or die out once the stupid baby boomers die out.
