Alpha s3 Handkey help.

i do not know if my alpha keys have sensors inside. they seem to be a newer model wich does not have screws. any idea if it does beep when entering the store? thnx

Take a knife, peel off the sticker, then take a flathead and pry open the caps if there are some. If you see a rod with wire wrapped around it, that's the security mechanism. If you see metal bars, that's the actual product you purchased or stole (four magnets worth $5.99 and a plastic casing).

had to melt the plastic in order to remove the coiled piece of metal. it was woth it, no big damages

No, use a angle grinder. the sensor is located by the hole for a belt loop/key chain.

Harbor freight has $10 angle grinders, w/ a free disc.

i got bored of just having it around and not beig able to actually use it, so i just burnt a hole. it acually went better than i thought. fully functional

Didn't quote, but remove the picture w/ the serial number and remove the serial number. IT is highly tracable and in case you're ever caught in the field with it, it can be used against you horribly. Alpha keeps a log on which key is sold where too, and the offending store keeps a log of when it put that key into service and to which employee, etc.

You remove the screws at the back with a special screwdriver which can be brought online
