This guy from work named Rich is going to collect unemployment, how does he falsify the job search vs having to go try to find one every week? They want you to fill in 10 every other week. So 5 a week

Just look for stuff on Craigslist and write the information down. How would they even verify whether or not you contacted someone online?

I thinks its diff for each state...mine only requires one application a week and all they ask for is the name of the company and the date. They don't call to verify it either.

Oregon requires two a week.

Only apply for high paying jobs, and then about one month before you UI runs out, apply for any job.

I collected all 99 weeks on one claim and now I'm finishing up another claim...but I get paid shit on this one, and I can't find a job.

It's hard to explain why you haven't worked much in a three year period...because there are jobs out there and employers know this. It makes you look lazy.

But if you have a clean criminal record, you might be fine.

in Ohio, its 2 a week also. but when I was unemployment, I was doing online claims. Never once did I end up having to report what jobs I applied for or anything. so the first 3 months I used as a vacation and didn't do shit.

By asking for a printout of the email? Just actualy apply but don't go to the interveiw if you get called.

I've never had to report it either, but I did turn down a couple of shitty jobs and the employer reported it to the employment office, but the unemployment office didn't bother me.

Yep. I didn't work for 16 months straight, then worked a shitty job for 3 months, was out of work for a month, worked another shit job for 2 months, and have been out of work for 8 months.

Jesus fuck, even the niggers in town can fill out applications for jobs they don't qualify for to keep getting their free Government crack money. That makes you literally lazier than a fucking nigger.

Hell, half the time you don't even need to fill out an application... you just ask at some companies that aren't even hiring and get them to sign your sheet.

Here in Canada you get 32 weeks at 55% of your previous gross pay, and you don't have to search for jobs at all. No reporting to fill out at all, and it's direct deposit. You Americans are getting scammed by your government. By the time you collect unemployment insurance you've paid a ton of money into it already, and the thieves and parasites in the government walk away "clean" with all that. There's should be no requirement at all for you to do a job search.

How am I getting scammed? I've been on a paid vacation for the last few years and haven't even started looking for work until recently. I have also supplemented my income tax-free*

We've been getting these UI extensions here. When mine ran out, they put me on an extension, then did it again.

I worked two jobs for a total of six months in the last 2 1/2 years and have been collecting when not working. So, a total of two years on UI has been collected...but I'm on my last two months and it's very little now.

But that's what all the supplementing is for...

I have all my shit(personal hygeine supplies, household supplies, even some clothing) stocked up for about 3-4 years. I have also collected lots of new things like my adjustable boxflex freeweights, a big Cobalt toolbox filled full of tools, 200+ bluRay collection, and furnished my apartment since being fired. I also have more cash now than when I was fired, and I have more than twice as much precious metals. I've also been eating Red Lobster a lot and other nice resturants and going to the theaters regularly and driving all over and hiking and just enjoying life.

edit: I also have about $2000 in gift cards.

The taxpayers and society have help me out a lot. But now I have to get a job and be a regular joe.
