Default Words with two meanings

Do you ever use a word when talking and the person misunderstands it because some dumb fag invented a slang term using the same word?

It's like;

Me: "my car was broken so I had to take my bike here"

Them: "Oh yeah? Is it a harley? How big is the gas tank, ect"

Me: "my fucking bicycle, nigguah"

or,

Me: "i'm gonna so buy some incense"

Them: "Oh yeah? You gonna get high as fuck?"

Me: "No nigger, I mean incense, the things that smell good"

pathetic, too, originally had a more positive connotation. I think its something like "emotionally loaded" in terms of performances? eh. Gay was once joyful, guess they decided the homosexuals looked pretty happy with what they were doing? who knows.

Ex: "My neighbor was telling me she got into juicing"

Me: "Really?! Why would she do that?? Is she a lesbian?"

Ex: "....What? What do you mean? How does juicing make you a lez?! I used to juice too!"

Me: "(getting confused) what?! So YOU did steroids too?! What's with you women??"

Ex: "(also confused)...Umm, huh? I meant juicing as in getting fruits and vegetables and blending them together into juice! What do you mean steroids?"

Me: OHH, ok! Well, "juice" is slang for steroid use.."

Ex: "Heheh, that's a new one, never heard that..."

Etc. This chick was 18 years my senior...lol.
