Speaking as zoklet's resident Magic the Gathering guru, I think this is real.

They were videoing it because the guy playing against the fatty knew how to rub the other guy up perfectly. They had set out to rub him up the wrong way to the extreme. If this isn't real, the guy playing the fat nerd is a terrific actor, that bounce up and down on the "Goddamnit! Goddamnit!" is terrific. Have to respect that.

I've shared a quiet laugh with a few random people slipping subtle references into conversation (just fishing; sounds normal to people who don't get it), but people doing it overtly is goddamned annoying. Luckily I don't get that much in my social circles but I've overheard kids on the street doing it.

It crops up on Facebook all the time. It's not even stereotypical 4chan people; reasonably sociable and well-adjusted girls seem to love this shit. Posting up rage comics and demotivational posters, tagging a photo of some cupcakes as 'le cupcakes', saying "u jelly?" in comments... ugh. Loads of British universities have "X university memes" pages now, with a bunch of years-old exploitables filled in to reference them.

This guy is OBVIOUSLY fake. I saw the cute little mouth tick where he wanted to smile right at 1:00.

If he was really as upset as he seemed, his eyes wouldn`t have that boyish glint of humor and would instead be vulnerable-looking and his brow would reflect that of a man on the verge of tears.

That combined with the smile he so proudly walked away with after throwing up the table makes this video an obvious fake and you guys suck for not knowing it.
