background check

i recently had an interview with meijer grocery store. they said i have the job as long as the background check comes back ok. my only question is do most low level jobs only check for felonies or do they check for everything on your record? my record isn't squeeky clean but i've luckily only gotten misdemeanors. would 5 misdemeanors disqualify me? i don't have any retail fraud or csc type charges.
