Car Cloning (for keeps)
First and foremost....yes, i have done my research on this and looked on forums including this one, and they all leave out the most key piece of info...is it really possible to walk into a dmv, hand them a fake title from a different state and they just print you out a new one, give you plates and your good to go?? do they not check with the other state to see if its all legit? most ppl do this to sell cars to unsuspecting buyers....but this particular inquiry is about a scenario like this: Billy is broke as hell, and Burger king or McDickholes doesnt pay worth a shit, so working and saving up is out of the question. Billy steals a 350Z from minnesota, VIN #ABC123. He then goes online, finds same exact car in florida with vin #ABC789. he makes new vins (doors and dash) for 789, and creates a fake florida title for said car. now what happens when he takes this title into the MN dmv and says yea i need plates and title please. does he ride away from the dmv in his 350Z or in the back of a Crown Vic?
